Clinton-Massie Varsity Baseball pieced together a steady offensive attack on Tuesday, scoring in multiple innings to secure a 10-3 victory over East Clinton. The Falcons wasted no time getting on the board in the bottom of the first. Aiden Clark sparked the early momentum with a double down the left field line, and Clinton-Massie capitalized on an East Clinton error to plate two quick runs. Clinton-Massie continued to build its lead in the third inning, adding two more runs behind RBI singles from Corey Frisch and Ryan Anderson. The Falcons’ consistent approach at the plate allowed them to extend their advantage inning by inning. On the mound, Ryan Anderson delivered a strong performance to earn the win. The right-hander went six innings, allowing just two hits and three runs (only one earned), while striking out seven and walking one. Zach Carter came on in relief and shut the door with a scoreless inning, allowing one hit and striking out one. Offensively, the Falcons collected nine hits on the day. Peyton Warren and Aiden Clark led the way with two hits apiece, while Warren also drove in a team-high two runs, finishing 2-for-3. Clinton-Massie applied pressure on the bases all game long, racking up eight stolen bases, with Colton Fite and Andrew Smith each swiping multiple bags. East Clinton was led by Carson Barton, who went 2-for-4 at the plate. Landen Dunn and Hudson Singer each contributed an RBI in the loss. Clinton-Massie will look to carry the momentum on the road Wednesday as they travel to Batavia for their next matchup.
