Clinton-Massie Completes Weight Room Upgrade Thanks to Clinton County Foundation Grant

Clinton-Massie Athletics has officially completed its weight room upgrade, marking a major investment in student-athlete development and performance. Made possible through the generous support of the Clinton County Foundation Grant, the revamped facility now provides athletes with enhanced training opportunities in a modernized and highly functional space. The upgrade includes a wide range of new strength and conditioning equipment designed to maximize efficiency, safety, and versatility. Additions to the weight room include: • Titan Power Rack (Biggie) • Flip Down Safety Bars (pairs) • 24” Extension Kit • 2 Spotter Arms (pairs) • 2 Weight Plate Holders • Barbell Spring Clips • Sandwich J Hooks (pairs) • 6 Titan Performance Series Adjustable Benches (Blue) • Wright Bumper Plates: • (16) 45 lb • (16) 25 lb • (16) 10 lb • 3 new weight trees for bumper plate storage In addition to the major equipment upgrades, several enhancements were made to further improve the space and training experience: • Fresh paint and completed labor upgrades • 30 jump ropes (7’ and 8’) • Reactor fitness balls (45 cm, 55 cm, 65 cm) • 8 Titan 3-in-1 plyometric boxes Over the past two weeks, Clinton-Massie Athletic Director Brian Carey, along with Athletic Department student aides Will McCarty, Colton Fite, Austin Hurley, Lylah Corbin, Bret Gray, Ryan Anderson, Hayden Meeker, Quinn McCoy, Jace Horner, and Gwenyth Foust, dedicated significant time and effort to assembling the new equipment and completely reorganizing the weight room layout. Their work has transformed the space into a more efficient, organized, and athlete-centered environment. This upgraded facility will play a key role in the continued growth of Clinton-Massie Athletics, providing student-athletes with the tools they need to train at a high level and compete at their best.
