Clinton-Massie Middle School Girls Capture Blanchester Invitational Title; Boys Finish Sixth

The Clinton-Massie Middle School Track and Field teams delivered a strong showing at the Blanchester Invitational on April 30, highlighted by a dominant championship performance from the girls team. The Lady Falcons secured 1st place overall with 132 points, finishing well ahead of runner-up Hillsboro (102 points). The boys team also competed hard, finishing 6th overall with 47.5 points. The girls’ championship effort was fueled by multiple first-place finishes and consistent scoring across events. Leading the way was Chaylen Trampler, who swept the throwing events with a pair of victories. Trampler claimed 1st place in Shot Put (32’ 5”) and 1st place in Discus (89’ 10”), continuing an outstanding season in the field events. On the track, Nina McHale delivered a standout performance, capturing 1st place in the 400-meter dash (1:02.64) and contributing to relay success. Crosley Webb also impressed, earning 1st place in the 200-meter hurdles (33.34) and 2nd place in the 100-meter hurdles (18.7). The Falcons also saw strong relay and distance performances. The 4x400 relay team placed 3rd, while the 4x800 relay team added another 2nd-place finish. In distance events, Jillian Walker earned 3rd place in the 1600-meter run (4:52.32) and 4th place in the 3200-meter run (11:55.12). In the field events, Clinton-Massie continued to pile up points: High Jump: Jillian Walker – 4th (4’4”), Sammie Daniels – 8th (4’0”) Long Jump: Tylar Engelhard – 3rd (12’9”), Sage Cartner – 16th (10’0”) Discus: Anna Evans – 6th (64’2”) Shot Put: Anna Evans – 14th (22’9”) Additional top performances included: Gabby Scherz – 2nd in the 200-meter dash (29.15) Brea Migal – 3rd in the 200-meter hurdles (35.47) Grace Sizemore – 6th in the 800-meter run (2:56.26) Josie Arledge – 1st in Pole Vault (7’) The boys team was led by several top finishers and continued growth across events. Mason Binder highlighted the meet with a 1st place finish in the 1600-meter run (4:02.31). Creo Haines added a strong 2nd place finish in the 400-meter dash (57.93), while Kolton Rudduck placed 3rd in the 100-meter dash (12.68). Other notable performances for the boys included: Finn Murray – 4th in the 100-meter dash Eli Theskin – 5th in Long Jump Jaxon Jodrey – 5th in Discus Landon Keck – 3rd in Pole Vault Both teams competed with energy and depth, with the girls capturing a team title and the boys continuing to build momentum as the season progresses.
