It was a successful day for Clinton-Massie Golf as both the boys and girls teams opened their seasons with strong performances in tournament play on Thursday. Boys Capture Clinton-Massie Invitational Championship The Clinton-Massie boys golf team defended its home course in impressive fashion, winning the Clinton-Massie Invitational at Snow Hill Country Club. The Falcons finished with a team score of 320, pulling away from runner-up Valley View (341) in the eight-team event. Leading the charge were Colson Morgan, Jack DeHart, and Jenner Gambill, who each carded rounds of 78 to share Match Medalist honors. The trio also earned spots on the All-Tournament Team. Clinton-Massie’s scoring was rounded out by Cory Frisch (86) and Micah Ruther (87), while Wyatt Scott added an 88. Georgetown – 424 ⸻ Girls Finish Eighth at Adam Sharp Invitational The Clinton-Massie girls golf team also competed Thursday, taking on a talented field at the Adam Sharp Invitational at Buckeye Hills Country Club. The Falcons finished 8th overall with a team score of 232. Renni Sagraves paced Clinton-Massie with an outstanding 38, earning a 4th-place individual finish in the tournament.
